The new issue of A Short Fanzine About Rocking will be out next month, around June 19th I hope, and I need advertisers!

Ad rates are dead cheap - just £20 for a full page, £10 for a half page, and the back cover is still available for £30.

The last issue of the zine sold super-well, and the new issue will feature interviews with all these awesome bands: Trapped Under Ice, Cancer Bats, Set Your Goals, Your Demise, The Wonder Years, Hang The Bastard, Frustration, Pariso, Gnarwolves (plus maybe a couple more).

So if you run a label/distro/shop/band/clothing line/anything and fancy getting involved, drop me a line at ashortfanzineaboutrocking@yahoo.co.uk.

I’m still aiming to get the new A Short Fanzine About Rocking out by mid-June, even though I’ve been hit by a bad case of man-flu, which has set things back a bit.

One thing I really want to get in the zine is more columns, so if you fancy putting together a few hundred words on an (ideally music-related) issue you feel passionate about, drop me an e-mail via ashortfanzineaboutrocking@yahoo.co.uk.

The next issue of A Short Fanzine About Rocking will hopefully be out in early-to-mid June. So far I’ve done interviews with Trapped Under Ice, Cancer Bats, Your Demise, Hang The Bastard, Set Your Goals and Pariso. There are also interviews in the works with The Wonder Years, Survival and Frustration - plus hopefully a couple more - so it’s shaping up very nicely indeed.

Thanks to everyone who picked up issue 32, as I mentioned above it sold really well. I’m out of copies, and I know some of the other stockists have either sold out or are close to selling out, so don’t sleep on it if you are yet to pick up a copy! At the risk of repeating sentiments expressed elsewhere in this issue, ASFAR has long championed LAST WITNESS, so it’s pretty exciting to see how things have really picked up for the band in the past few months. Hooking up with management a few months ago has helped them to build on the buzz…
