NYHC legends, and one of my favourite hardcore bands ever, Madball, are playing The Fighting Cocks in Kingston tomorrow (Wednesday 14th). It should be an awesome show, especially cause London’s finest, No Second Chance, are supporting.
You can pick up a ticket here: http://www.banquetrecords.com/madball141112
And there’s more info on the show here: http://www.facebook.com/events/122112227937104/
See you down the front! (or maybe near the bar, cause that’s where I tend to hang out at shows these days…)
The new issue of ASFAR has gone to the printers! Here’s a sneak preview of the cover, I’ll post details of when it’s going to be available etc in the next few days. Get in touch if you’re interested in stocking the zine on a distro/merch table or in a shop - cheap rates for bulk purchases.
It’s taking a bit longer than planned - mainly because real life has got in the way - but the autumn/winter 2012 issue of A Short Fanzine About Rocking will hopefully be dropping in mid-November.
The new issue will include interviews with Brutality Will Prevail, Vision Of Disorder, Basement, Breaking Point, Expire and Brotherhood Of The Lake. There will also hopefully be one more in there, but I won’t name it for fear of tempting fate.
As always there will also be tonnes of record/gig/zine reviews and some other random bits besides.
Look out for full details on when the zine is coming out and how to get a copy, but in the meantime, if you’re interested in stocking the zine in your shop/distro or on your merch, get in touch via ashortfanzineaboutrocking@yahoo.co.uk about wholesale (i.e. cheaper) rates for bulk purchases.
There are also a few last minute advertising spots available - just £20 for a full page, £10 for a half page - drop me an e-mail via the address above for more info.
