The next issue of A Short Fanzine About Rocking will hopefully be out in early-to-mid June. So far I’ve done interviews with Trapped Under Ice, Cancer Bats, Your Demise, Hang The Bastard, Set Your Goals and Pariso. There are also interviews in the works with The Wonder Years, Survival and Frustration - plus hopefully a couple more - so it’s shaping up very nicely indeed.
I’m particularly in need of people to contribute columns to the zine. If you fancy writing a couple of hundred words on something - preferably music-related - you feel particularly passionate about, drop me a line via firstname.lastname@example.org.
I always need people to advertise in the zine, and, given the latest issue was the fastest selling ASFAR ever, it might not be a bad idea to get involved! Advertising rates are £20 for a full page, £10 for a half page and the back cover’s still available, for £30. Deadline for copy is the end of May. If you run a label/distro/shop/clothing line, put on shows or are in a band and want to advertise, get in touch via the e-mail address above!
Thanks to everyone who picked up issue 32, as I mentioned above it sold really well. I’m out of copies, and I know some of the other stockists have either sold out or are close to selling out, so don’t sleep on it if you are yet to pick up a copy! A full list of stockists can be found at http://ashortfanzineaboutrocking.tumblr/stockists.
More details on the new issue will follow when things are more firmed up - as always, just e-mail me if you have any questions!
